SINGAPORE: A Singaporean's passport was cancelled by authorities after he breached stay-home notice requirements. The case has also been referred ...

Goh Illya Victor, 53, had travelled from Singapore to Batam, Indonesia, on Mar 3, 2020, and returned to Singapore through Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on Mar 19, 2020.

However, after he was served the stay-home notice, Goh decided to return to Indonesia on the same day, despite ICA officers warning him that he would breach the stay-home notice requirements and could face penalties. "Goh has displayed irresponsible conduct by not complying with the requirements of his first SHN, departing Singapore on 19 March 2020 and then returning to Singapore on 24 March 2020," said ICA.

Obviously he will reapply which will be granted. Or perhaps he quietly holds an Indonesian passport.

Why, why it's itchy people who like testing, testing 1,2,3 but too bad it turns out 3,2,1 🤥😩🤧. Ha haaa 🤥🌜😜

Deserved it. No money can get you a new passport from now on. Good job ICA. 👏👏👏

I just dont understand why hard for ppl to just stay at home for 14 days? Its better than stay in ICU I guess 😄

Dont play play now serious ....

It should be, a strict rule need to apply👍

No travelling for this man. Good job ICA for swift action.

Kudos!

Well they should've been doing this to those who can't even sing Majulah Singapura or The Pledge without a piece of paper in front of them! 🙄

Dear Sgan “who think they are superman/women” please kindly think about others people!! Singapore govt have done a good jobs. Dont fuck it up. Or you want to become a 3rd world country citizen?!!

Perfect, Australia, live and learn how to exercise authority. Plus up to 10.000$ fine plus 6 months imprisonment. That’s a deterrent, not the piss weak enforcements you have in place and people still walking around having a good time.

Listen DanielAndrewsMP and ScottMorrisonMP maybe you should be doing this in Australia!

The one who breached gov regulations.. and he became stateless

This is really good news. Love the no nonsense! Great to name and shame him too.
