Singapore will extend the measures under the Stabilisation Phase by another four weeks from 25 October 2021 through 21 November 2021, the COVID multi-ministry taskforce (MTF) said on Wednesday (20 October).

People wearing protective mask wait in queue to take their COVID-19 antigen rapid test on 16 October 2021 in Singapore.

Among the safe management measures previously introduced under the Phase, Singapore returned to a two-person dining-in rule for a period of four weeks from 27 September, as it aimed to slow down community COVID-19 transmission.

Were we caught by surprise and did not anticipate the current situation to happen? “We understand where the Restaurant Association is coming from.”…for those of us not in the F&B businesses, I don’t think “we understand” because we are not impacted. A statement such as this just not being honest!
