Boy punches and kicks another in toilet as others watch, principal says they have 'managed situation'

Beatty Secondary School is aware of a video circulating online showing one of its students brutally assaulting another in the toilet, the school's principal told Stomp.alerted Stomp to the 47-second video after it was shared in a Telegram group called Chill Corner SGFollowsAll on May 18."Something is very very wrong. This is an act of INCIVILITY in a civilised world.

The video shows one boy punching and kicking another boy even as the lattter cowered and tried to run away. Both were wearing a yellow T-shirt with the words"Beatty Secondary" on the back.At the end of the video, the boy being assaulted crumbled to the floor in pain after a body blow. In response to a Stomp query, Beatty Secondary School principal Harman Johll said the incident happened"a couple of years back"."In light of the recent circulation, we have reminded our students on our zero tolerance for bullying, advised them not to circulate material that would affect others, reported the recent circulation to the authorities and would follow-up with the authorities accordingly.
