Maris Stella High School, Woodlands Ring Secondary School to be rebuilt

SINGAPORE: Maris Stella High School and Woodlands Ring Secondary School will be rebuilt in the next few years, the Ministry of Education announced on Monday .

The new holding site for the primary section is about 2.7km away from its permanent home, while the new secondary school site is about 4.6km away. During the temporary relocation, the permanent site at 25 Mount Vernon Road will continue to be used to determine the home-school distance for the Primary 1 registration exercises.Holding site for Maris Stella High School at former MacPherson Primary School.

“There is no change to the plan for WRSS and Fuchun Secondary School to merge from January 2025,” MOE said. Secondary schools and JCs can take up to 20 per cent of their non-Integrated Programme intake via the DSA exercise.
