In reply to TODAY’s queries on Thursday, the police said that they were alerted to the fight at around 6pm on Wednesday.They added that the 71-year-old woman was taken conscious to the hospital.
In a video posted on the Facebook page called Beh Chia Lor – Singapore Road, a fight is seen taking place among three people under a white tent as some people looked on and others tried to stop the scuffle. The woman in black then lunges towards the woman in the red shirt, hitting her in the face, while the man appears to rain blows on the same woman’s head.
