SINGAPORE — The police arrested three elderly people on Wednesday (Aug 10) for their alleged involvement in a case of affray along Arumugam Road near Macpherson.

A 69-year-old man and two women, aged 65 and 71, were arrested, the police said.They added that the elder woman was taken conscious to the hospital.In a video posted on the Beh Chia Lor – Singapore Road Facebook page, a fight is seen taking place among three people under a white tent as some people looked on while others attempted to stop the scuffle.

In the video, a woman in red shirt can be seen throwing a plastic chair, while two other persons — a man and another woman in black — are seen retaliating with plastic chairs as well.The woman in black then lunges towards the woman in the red shirt, hitting her in the face, while the man appears to rain blows on the same woman’s head.
