In her interview with the British media outlet, Lieutenant General Nigar Jauhar said that she is proud of joining the Pakistan army adding that respect is given to women in our society and they enjoy the respectable position.
Surgeon General said that we have every kind of protection here while the Army believes in merit and ” my appointment proves it.”She is the 1st female officer to be promoted as Lieutenant General. The officer has been appointed as 1st female Surgeon General of Pak Army. Lieutenant General Nigar Johar hails from Panjpeer, District Swabi KPK.
