According to the reports, unannounced load-shedding has been intensified in the metropolis and power remains shut down for hours in several localities.
Several areas of the city, including, Gulistan Johar, Malir, Nazimabad, Shah Faisal Colony, Karimabad, Ancholi, Azizabad, Lyari, Korangi, Saudabad, new Karachi and other areas were badly hit by power outages. These localities remained in darkness throughout the night on Tuesday. Meanwhile, citizens daily life affairs of the citizens have been severely affected by the load-shedding. The power outage in most areas of Karachi city has also created water shortage. Unannounced loadshedding in different areas has reached up to 15 hours.
On the other hand, the protest of cable operators continued against the K-electric. They closed the cable services from 7pm to 10pm yesterday.
