TURKEY - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan put US President Donald Trump’s letter "in the bin", according to BBC.
The letter tried to persuade Erdogan to reverse a decision to invade Syria that Erdogan told Trump about in an Oct 6 phone call. On the day the letter was received, Turkey launched a cross-border offensive against Kurdish-led forces.
