Lahore bowler Rashid Khan ran through the Sultans. He took three wickets against 15 runs in four overs. Other bowlers including Sikandar Raza, Hussain Talat, Zaman Khan, and Haris Rauf share one wicket each.
Abdullah Shafique and Sam Billings shined as they managed to build a fighting total for Qalandars after losing early wickets of the opening pair of Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Tahir Baig. After losing Baig, Shafique stitched another healthy partnership with Sam Billings. However, the 69-run stand was broken when Shafique, 48 runs in 35 balls, was caught and bowled by Kieron Pollard.
