ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has submitted an application to the Senate Secretary against the election of Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
“The position adopted in the petition is that post-Senate chairman and deputy chairman are lying vacant, you are the custodian of the house, your duty is to fulfill your constitutional responsibility, and you are requested not to start the process of selecting the chairman and deputy chairman of the senate unless elections are not held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this election should not be held”.
The petition filed in the Islamabad High Court was signed by Senator Zarqa, Saifullah Niazi, Saifullah Abro, Falaknaz Chitrali, Fauzia Arshad, and Humayun Mohmand.
