Police have started an investigation on various aspects including resistance to robbery.
According to the family, victim Ashfaq was abducted by unknown individuals two days ago and after the murder, the body was dumped in a sewer in Manawaan. The victim was the father of four. Police and forensic teams have collected evidence from the spot and shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy.
