“The Centre failed to ensure the furnace oil supply to the private companies in June though the K-Electric informed the federal government about the matter six months ago, the source said on Saturday.and the Pakistan State Oil did not take serious the request for arranging the oil supply made by the K-Electric.
“The K-electric informed the Energy Ministry in January about 120,000 tonnes of furnace oil need of June and the PSO reconfirmed the requirement in April and May but the K-Electric was informed on June 2 that the oil could not be imported,” the sources added.
