An inmate was allegedly tortured to death in Adiala Jail, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Ayaz, 23, was imprisoned on charges of robbery and, according to his relatives, he has been subjected to torture in jail that resulted in his death. However, the official denied any wrongdoing. A couple of months ago, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan submitted a report on complaints of corruption and torture at Adiala Jail to the Islamabad High Court .
