Petrol price in Pakistan are at an all-time high and it's becoming increasingly difficult for people to afford to drive their bikes. The rising petrol price in Pakistan is taking a heavy toll on the monthly budgets of the salaried class, most of whom drive a bike to commute to work. However, there are a few things that a mechanic thinks you can do to save petrol and reduce your fuel cost.Check your tyre pressure regularly.

Tyres that are underinflated will cause your bike to use more petrol. Make sure to check your tyre pressure at least once a month, and inflate them to the recommended pressure as specified on the sidewall of the tyre. When you accelerate or brake hard, you're using more petrol. Try to accelerate and brake smoothly to save fuel. The lower the gear, the more petrol your bike will use. Try to use the highest gear possible that's appropriate for the speed you're travelling at.
