According to sources, the government will exempt thefrom the mandatory purchase of LNG from January 2022. In this regard, the Cabinet Committee on Energy has approved key decisions.
According to the sources, LNG plants won’t be bound anymore to buy LNG from the government after 2022. The Cabinet Committee on Energy has approved the plan to end the condition of take 66 per cent or pay policy.
