PESHAWAR – At least four children on Tuesday have embraced martyrdom while 50 others sustained severe wounds as a massive explosion hit madrassa in Peshawar’s Dir Colony.
According to police officers, the blast occurred in the main hall after an unidentified man placed a bag full of explosives in the madrassa. A rescue operation has also been launched to shift the injured children to the nearby hospitals for medical assistance. The security personnel told that more casualties are feared as some of the victims are in critical condition.
