In the letter, the AGP said that Shehbaz was supposed to provide regular “duly notarised” medical reports of his brother to the court as per the undertaking given by him to the Lahore High Court . The letter stated that if Shahbaz Sharif failed to do so, contempt of court petition would be filed against him.
The AGP also mentioned the verdict of the Lahore High Court under which Nawaz Sharif was allowed to go abroad for medical treatment. He said that the doctors' instructions had recommended Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for four weeks.
