The Easterlies — or the winds coming from the Pacific Ocean — will bring warm weather and rain showers across the country, weather service PAGASA said in a Monday afternoon forecast.“Nandyan ang epekto ng Easterlies o ng hangin galing sa Pacific Ocean na nagdadala ng mainit na panahon at mahihinang pag-ulan sa ilang parte ng ating bansa, lalo na eastern section,” said PAGASA Weather Specialist Benison Estareja.
There were no other weather systems or disturbances for PAGASA to monitor during the week.In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms would prevail over Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Samar, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental due to the easterlies.
