For the first time, Meralco overcame Barangay Ginebra in a seven-game series as the Bolts won in Game 7 of their PBA Philippine Cup semis on Friday.Meralco was down 2-3 in the series before getting back-to-back wins to book its first All-Filipino finals stint and for head coach Luigi Trillo, it was a result of 'a lot of belief and resilience.'"Malaki 'to sa'min.

"Big for the organization. In Meralco, we have a lot of pride in what we do. We're gonna have to savor this," he added.However, the road does not end yet for the Bolts as they will face a powerhouse team in San Miguel in the finals."We're going to come prepared, believe in these guys. San Miguel, we have a lot of respect for them but we can match up with them," he said while also crediting consultant Nenad Vucinic."We're not happy just to be in the finals.
