Production stoppage will be affecting 19 lines out of 11 plants out of 28 lines in 14 plants. These include production for the GR Yaris as well as the Land Cruiser 300 and a majority of Lexus models including the all-new NX.
Meanwhile, their planned production suspension in February will now affect 7 lines out of 6 plants as opposed to the previously announced 11 lines in 8 plants. Production stoppages in February will affect the GR Yaris drastically, with assembly suspending for a total of 12 days. It will also affect the all-new Lexus NX and Lexus UX for 10 days.
In a statement, Toyota says they will maximize efforts to deliver as many vehicles as possible to customers at the earliest possible date.
