Ford Unleashes Most Powerful Street-Legal Bronco Ever: The 2022 Bronco Raptor
Starting with the Bronco frame foundation, the Ford Performance team added reinforcements helping it deliver a 50 percent body-in-prime torsional rigidity increase over the standard Bronco four-door model. From there, they added new shock towers that increased wheel travel and off-road durability as well as a heavy-duty bash and skid plates that line the entire driveline.
At each corner, the Bronco Raptor comes with 3.1-inch Fox shock absorbers with internal bypass semi-active dampers. Suspension height sensors and other sensors at each corner monitor terrain conditions independently hundreds of times every second and adjust suspension tuning accordingly. It also comes with standard 37-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires mounted on optional 8.5-inch beadlock-capable wheels.
