Thousands of devotees filled the streets of Quiapo, Manila on Tuesday afternoon for the blessing and procession of replicas of the Black Nazarene, a prelude to the much anticipated “Traslacion” religious festival on Thursday.

According to figures from Philippine Red Cross, the afternoon crowd rose to some 1,136 devotees, parading hundreds of Black Nazarene replicas while beating drums and other musical instruments.
