The Tala Hospital in Caloocan City is seeing a “slight” decline in COVID-19 admission, an official of the hospital said Wednesday, Jan. 19.

“Medyo maluwag na ho kami ngayon, two weeks ago medyo mataas ho yung aming admission rate per day, nasa 25 to 30 admissions. Sa ngayon, nasa 15 to 20 na lang per day ,” Dr. Alfonso Famaran, Tala Hospital director, said in an interview over TeleRadyo.“Dati umabot kami ng 600. Ngayon 298 na lang po ,” he noted.He also noted that of its 274 COVID-19 patients, 246 are moderate cases, eight are severe, and seven are critical.

“[Of the number] 45 percent are fully vaccinated, three percent are partially vaccinated three percent, [and] 52 are not vaccinated,” Famaran sain in a mix of Filipino and English.
