MANILA - A lawmaker on Tuesday appealed to other congressmen to protect the jobs of more than 11,000 workers in ABS-CBN and its affiliate companies by approving the network’s broadcast franchise.
“We're helping all companies. We do not know what to do in Congress to create a package to stimulate the economy. Eh, eto, andito na, tapos papabayaan pa nating masira?,” Go said in Tuesday’s congressional hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise. “Let's protect the jobs. This is not only for ABS-CBN. This is for the entire country. We want to help this country, let's help ABS-CBN keep its franchise," Go said.Labor Undersecretary Ana Dione earlier testified that ABS-CBN was fully compliant with labor laws based on the agency’s 2018 inspection of the company.
That should be the job of congress to help and protect the fil people lalo na ngaung uso ang mawalan ng trabaho... mga nagbabayad ng tax ang tao sa abs at malaki pa bayad nila. Sino bang kaaepktuhan? Bansa rin natin. Kaya wake up congress!

Try your best, but we know the time is almost over.
It's not the government's problem, It's yours ABS CBN. Had you cleaned up your act before the current administration's time, you should have no problem applying/renewing your franchise.
That is a dangerous precedent. Let the investigation push through to see if there are indeed violations or not. Then and only then will the franchise be granted.
