MANILA, Philippines – Signal No. 1 was raised in several areas late Thursday morning, August 22, as Tropical Storm Ineng slightly intensified. In a bulletin issued 11 am on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said Ineng now has maximum winds of 75 kilometers per hour from the previous 65 km/h and gustiness of up to 90 km/h from the previous 80 km/h.

It is expected to strengthen further into a severe tropical storm within 24 hours, while inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility .Signal No. 1 is now up over:
