MANILA - Tropical depression Ineng will likely intensify into a tropical storm on Thursday morning as it approaches Aurora province, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, Ineng was spotted 1,155 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon, moving northwest slowly while packing maximum winds of 55 km per hour and gusts of up to 70 kph.Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains brought by the outer rain bands of Ineng.
The same weather will be experienced over MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Central Visayas due to the southwest monsoon and Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to a low pressure area near Taiwan, which PAGASA said has a low chance of developing into a storm.
