CEBU CITY — A ship that ran aground at the height of Typhoon Odette in December 2021 caught fire off Barangay Punta Engaño on Mactan Island early Saturday morning. Nagiel Bañacia, head of the Lapu-Lapu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, said two crew members of M/V Trans Asia-1 sustained burns and were brought to a hospital in Lapu-Lapu City for treatment.At least six crew members, he said, were on the ship when the fire occurred.
