Police Major Leo Estopa, San Enrique police chief, said the victims were sleeping when suspect Raymund Langote attacked Brinio.
Brinio’s relatives – Elmer Langote and Ronaldo Anacleto – both residents of Culasi tried to pacify the suspect but he also hacked them. The victim was declared dead while Langote and Anacleto are recuperating in a hospital, according to Estopa.The suspect was arrested in Barangay Old Baliwagan through the help of Barangay Guintorilan officials.But according to their overseer, he had no altercation or misunderstanding with the suspect.
