More than P8 billion worth of savings could be generated if the barangay elections this year would be postponed, House Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez said Thursday.

In an ambush interview, Romualdez was asked what could be the benefits if the barangay elections in December 2022 will be postponed.

[That's one of the requests of our barangay chairpersons from the Liga ng mga Barangay. So we shall consider that ... the barangay elections is scheduled this December so those will be one of our items in our priority agenda.]

Nice one👍

When you talk about taxes, your family name triggers an automatic backlash….

Naka patek nga yan nung isang araw eh

Ang asikasuhin at kulitin yun 203billion..

Additionally, savings can also be generated if government officials keep their hands off the kaban ng bayan to fund their lavish lifestyles.

bakit di nyo pabayaran yung 203B Para matuloy ang barangay election?

anong common sense nanaman yan?

8 billion. . . Ready the Vacuum cleaner! ASAP. 😅

How about the collection of estate tax which 23billion that’s a lot of savings isn’t it.

YES TO BARANGAY ELECTIONS!

Mapapa sana all ka nalang.

Just appoint the barangay officials. We don't need another damn circus.
