A radio broadcaster was shot dead in Misamis Occidental early Sunday, November 5, 2023.

A police report said that a man barged inside the house of Juan Jumalon, 57, and shot him at 5:35 a.m. Jumalon, also known as 'Johny Walker,' was a broadcaster of Gold FM 94.

7 in Calamba, Misamis Occidental. He was broadcasting when attacked.The victim was rushed to the Calamba District Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival by Dr. Geopeter Mansion.
