Quezon City records 11 new COVID19 cases; total rises to 151. LuzonLockdown

The Quezon City government late Tuesday disclosed 11 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 in the city, raising the total to 151.

The new cases were recorded in barangays Bahay Toro, Lourdes, Sto. Cristo, Batasan Hills, Holy Spirit, Loyola Heights, San Roque, San Agustin, Pasong Tamo, and Tandang Sora, The city government also recorded one new COVID-19 fatality, bringing the total to 27, and one new recovery, raising it to 11. The number of persons under investigation reached 73 while cases of persons under monitoring is at 385.In an effort to contain the virus, decontamination efforts are ongoing in different barangays, city officials said.Officials have also distributed 952,000 food packs to poor families across the city.President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the country under a state of public health emergency because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The health department has tallied 2,084 cases of COVID-19 nationwide, with 88 fatalities and 49 recoveries.
