PVL: Creamline remains unbeaten; Choco Mucho bounces back

Kat Tolentino in action for Choco Mucho. Tolentino and Arianna Angustia accounted for 26 of their team’s 54 kills. It was the Cool Smashers’ fifth straight win to remain at the helm while avenging their Open Conference title loss to the Angels a month ago.

Earlier, Choco Mucho regained lost bearings with a 25-21, 22-25, 25-14, 25-18 triumph over Chef’s Classics. Choco Mucho destroyed Chef’s Classics’ net defense with Tolentino and Angustia blasting 26 of the team’s 54 kills. Madayag finished with 12 points for the Flying Titans while Bang Pineda contributed 10 points and 14 digs. Mary Grace Masangkay had 37 excellent sets.
