The local bourse snapped its losing streak to open the trading week only marginally up as investors remained cautious.

AAA Equities Head of Research Christopher Mangun said the main index finished slightly higher on very low trading volumes, as it only traded P3.49 billion.He attributed the slow performance to investors still waiting for more signs of economic recovery in the country. “The sentiment remains cautious as the government is set to announce the new status of quarantine restrictions in the country in the next few days,” he added.
