The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has launched the PSA e-Verification Mobile App to enable the public to validate the displayed information against the printed security paper (SECPA).

The Philippine Statistics Authority has launched the PSA e-Verification Mobile App to enable the public to validate the displayed information against the printed security paper .

In a statement on Wednesday, Aug. 10, the PSA said that the mobile app is a stand-alone system, which can work even offline.“It is encrypted through public-key encryption technology that confirms the authenticity of issued certifications and copies of civil registry documents by scanning the quick response code printed in the SECPA, which is now one of the new features under the Civil Registry System-Information Technology Project Phase II ,” PSA said.
