A police officer was killed in an ambush in Quezon City Tuesday night.

PLt Ernesto Mendoza of the District Logistics Division of the Quezon City Police was gunned down by unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects in Brgy. Teachers Village at around 8:10 p.m on Tuesday.

According to investigators, Mendoza was driving a car along Malingap St. when he was shot. He was declared dead on the spot.
