MAYNILA – Naitala nitong madaling araw ng Linggo ang pinakamalamig na temperatura sa Metro Manila mula noong Nobyembre, ayon sa state weather bureau na PAGASA.
Sa tala ng PAGASA, umabot sa 19.3 degrees Celsius ang temperatura sa Metro Manila bandang alas-5 ng umaga, na epekto umano ng hanging amihan. “Ito ‘yong hangin na galing dito sa mainland Asia o sa mainland China na during this time na spring na kasi. Ibig sabihin, natutunaw na ‘yong ibang yelo so malamig ‘yong hangin na galing sa Tsina na dumidiretso dito sa atin,” paliwanag ni PAGASA weather forecaster Raymond Ordinario.Kalimitang nagtatagal ang amihan season hanggang katapusan ng Pebrero ngunit dahil bumubugso pa rin ito, maaari umanong tumagal pa ang malamig na panahon hanggang ikalawang linggo ng Marso.
