THE Department of Health on Sunday, November 7, 2021, recorded for the second straight day above 2,500 new cases of coronavirus disease .The new cases brought the Philippines' total caseload to 2,803,213.

A total of 3,901 recoveries were also reported Sunday that brought the total individuals who recovered from the disease to 2,725,257 or 97.2 percent. Of the active cases, 66 percent were mild, 15.41 percent were moderate, 9 percent were severe, 5.7 percent were asymptomatic and 3.8 percent were critical.
