THE Department of Health reported 2,605 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, pushing the total to 2,803,213.Active cases now stand at 33,526, of which 71.7 percent are mild and asymptomatic, while 15.41 percent are moderate.The death toll increased by 191, raising the number of casualties to 44,430 nationwide.

There were 3,901 new recoveries, for a total of 2,725,257.Hospital bed utilization for intensive care units nationwide was at 42 percent, 31 percent for isolation beds, and 25 percent for ward beds.Meanwhile, occupancy in the National Capital Region was at 38 percent, 28 percent, and 26 percent respectively for ICU, isolation, and ward beds.
