PH jins bag 7 medals in Asian Poomsae Championships

THE Philippine taekwondo-poomsae team clinched seven medals at this year's Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships held earlier this week.During the tournament, the Philippine team won a gold, a silver and five bronze medals.Their lone gold medal in the tournament was at the over-17 freestyle mixed team event, which consisted of Darius Venerable, Justin Kobe Macario, Juvenile Fate Crisostomo, Zyka Angelica Santiago and Stella Nicole Yape. Nicole Labayne, Aidaine Laxa and Jocel Ninobla.

clinched the country's lone silver medal of the tournament.Justin Kobe Mariano also bagged a bronze medal in the Freestyle Individual O17 Male event.Three-time Southeast Asian Games champion Jocel Lyn Ninobla won bronze medals in the Recognized Individual U30 Female and the Recognized Team U30 Female events, along with Ma. Nicole Labayne and Sofia Ysabelle Sarmiento. Her father, June Ninobla, also won a bronze in the Recognized Individual U60 Male event.
