Pasay City reports highest number of new Covid cases in Mega Manila, and is second highest in PH

Cebu Province continues to lead on a provincial level with 430 of the 446 cases in Central Visayas , with Cebu City responsible for 217 of the cases in the province . New cases in NCR are expected to increase at least in the short term. Positivity rate in NCR is at 5 percent over the past 7 days. While several LGUs in NCR reported an increase in new cases, the best performing LGU in NCR is Mandaluyong, which not only avoided an increase in new cases but also reported a low daily attack rate of 2.55 per 100,000, low hospital occupancy of 5 percent and low positivity rate of 2 percent.

Among the cities in NCR, Quezon City led with 86 cases followed very closely by Manila with 64, Makati City with 61, and Pasay City with 60.
