MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Luzon may experience a rainy Wednesday even as Tropical Depression Jenny is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility , the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa said the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon and Cagayan Valley may experience rains with gusty winds due to the exiting tropical depression.Metro Manila, Western Visayas, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the Bicol region, meanwhile, are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
The Visayas and Mindanao may also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Pagasa said “Jenny” made landfall in Casiguran, Aurora at10:40 p.m. on Tuesday and was downgraded to a tropical depression but may intensify into a tropical storm on its way out of the PAR.
