Cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms may affect parts of the country over the weekend, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Saturday, Oct. 16.The state weather bureau said the Intertropical Convergence Zone , a region where the trade winds from the northern and southern hemispheres converge, would continue to affect Luzon and Visayas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. On the other hand, a gale warning has been raised over the seaboard of Northern Luzon particularly in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
