CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – Fishermen found a pack of shabu floating on the West Philippine Sea in Barangay Daclapan, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur on Saturday night, June 29.

The Ilocos Sur Provincial Forensic Unit confirmed the contraband as shabu with a weight of 997.51 grams and valued at P6,783,068.

Hours later on Sunday, June 30, fishermen recovered two packs of suspected shabu on the WPS in Barangay Apatot, San Esteban, Ilocos Sur. Last week, a total of 80 packs of shabu were also found on the sea of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte, weighing a total of 80 kilos and worth P550.5 million.
