More than P2.4 million-worth of suspected shabu was seized from seven drug suspects following a buy-bust operation in Marikina City Friday night.

Police Colonel Restituto Arcangel, Marikina City Police chief, said 27-year-old Sabila Dimas, the target of the said operation, burned the plastic wrap that was believed to have been containing illegal drugs in an attempt to dispose the evidences.

“During the deal, Dimas sensed that he was transacting with the police so he ran back towards the house and locked it from inside,” Arcangel said. The police then chased after Dimas and barged inside his residence where he was then placed under arrest.
