Overseas voter registration resumes Sept. 1

In Resolution No. 10677, the Comelec said the conduct of continuing registration and certification at the Office for Overseas Voting in Intramuros, Manila shall will be held from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30.

The resumption also covers the following transactions and frontline services such as recapture of biometrics; reinstatement of name inadvertently omitted in the National Registry of Overseas Voters; change of name due to marriage or court order; correction of entries in the Voter’s Registration Record; reactivation of registration records; change or updating of address and other contact information ; updating of photograph and or signature; and request to withdraw the application for...

According to Comelec, it will accept registration and other transactions from Mondays to Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding holidays, on an appointment basis. Applicants or clients may book an appointment by e-mailing the request for appointment to the OFOV’s official email address at
