The new chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Police General Rommel Marbil, has issued the first and final directive to all personnel to refrain from using their cellphones during duty. They are instructed to focus on their work, which is to ensure security and prevent crimes within their jurisdiction. The PNP chief warns that any police personnel caught using their cellphone will not be forgiven as he is strict with their duties.
