Major Ma. Teresita Gaspan, spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office , said there are about 5,000 security forces from different security units that will be deployed in various activities. Gaspan added that the DCPO will still implement a multi-layered security blanket on land, air, and sea during the major events in Davao City.She reiterated that carrying backpacks, jackets, firearms, and pointed objects inside the activity areas are still prohibited. The use of drones without permission from the Public Safety and Security Command Center is also prohibited.
These security forces include the Philippine Coast Guard, Task Force Davao, City Transport and Traffic Management Office , Bureau of Fire Protection , City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office , and Community Volunteer Task Force .
