There will be no number coding on June 17, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced on Saturday.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared June 17 as a regular holiday to celebrate Eid’l Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice, as per Proclamation No. 579 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on June 4.The Department of Labor and Employment meanwhile said private sector employees who will not report for work on June 17 are entitled to receive the full amount of their daily pay while those going on duty will be paid double.
For those who will be present at their jobs on Monday, the employer shall pay a total of 200 percent of the employee’s wage for that day for the first eight hours .
