MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed Tuesday he was in pain due to the motorcycle accident he figured in last week, forcing him to cut his Japan trip short.

In a live video on Facebook, the President said he felt the pain while rising from bed to brush his teeth during his stay in Japan for the enthronement rites of Emperor Naruhito.

He was due to see a neurologist on Wednesday, presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said earlier Tuesday.

Bike pa more. Compromised his duty to serve as a representative for the Philippines. Lol. If it was in China he would endure the pain just to kiss and hug Xi Jinping.

Duterte to bring 'lean' delegation to JapanPresidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo says President Rodrigo Duterte will not bring a lot of government officials with him on his current trip to Japan. Kasama ba yung mga laos na garapatang artista? With all the trashy people he already flew with to Russia, no doubt. 😂 Of course. The hangers-on will always claim they went there on their own (nagkataon/nagkasabay lang) and spent their own money, peks man. Same old refrain.
